Nick G Atlantic Physical Therapy

Nick Gerthoffer, PTA

I grew up playing various sports in western Pennsylvania. From 2003-2008, I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a student in Exercise Science and an athlete on the school’s swim team. I then became a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and began practicing yoga, and later teaching it, after realizing how much I needed it and how difficult yoga could be. I was injured a few times from surfing and other sports and didn’t have health insurance, so I had to use my body awareness I gained from yoga to fix myself. Learning quite a bit from my yoga practice, I decided I wanted to use that knowledge and personal experience to help others. That is when I found out that Wor-Wic Community College was starting a Physical Therapy Assistant program, which I attended and graduated from in May of 2018.
