Hard to believe we are in week 3 of the season. Injuries happen in football. Easton came into the contest we a few key starters out as did the Rams. Injuries at running back meant someone was going to have to dig deep. When in these tough situations you need teammates to lean on each other and step up. Sophomore Alijah Bivans was told the day of the contest he was the starter. A big smile came across his face as he said “I got you coach”. Bivans went on to rush for over 150 yards and two touchdowns as he plowed through would be tacklers. The 5’8 205 lbs running back runs physical and downhill. Its definitely something special when a young man gets thrust into a starting position and is able to excel but when he crushes tacklers with powerful downhill moves its awesome to watch. Rams are excited to see him progress as they prepare to come out versus crosstown rivals Wihi in Week 4.
