Week 4 of the season was a matchup of intown Rivalries at its best. The first in the series of city school’s placed the 2-1 Rams vs the 2-1 Tribe of Wicomico High. With Bragging rights on the line the game lived up to the hype. Parkside offensively was looking to establish things on the group and defensively was looking to take away the speedy attack of the Wicomico Tribe. The contest was determined in the trenches and led by sophomore Right Guard Cole Russ the Rams offense was able to produce over 400 yards of offense. The sophomore had his hands full with the large interior defensive line of the tribe, led by Junior Defensive Tackle Dominic Baily, who has received some major Division 1 interest. Cole and the other offensive lineman had to adjust throughout the night but the words QUIT never entered as he believed the BYOG talk from early from the pregame. For those that don’t know BYOG-if “Bring YOUR OWN GUTS!” The contest finished with the Rams commanding a 15 point lead to defeat the Tribe 21 to 6. The Rams return to county stadium off of Civic Avenue for a contest against the 4-0 Kent Island Buccaneers.
