Parkside Tough Guy Winner – Week 3

Week 3 1

The Rams took their show on the road this past Thursday.  The Rams now 2-1 took on the always deadly Easton Warrior Passing attack. Having Played on Saturday and trying to avoid a situation where their game was delayed because of the impended Hurricane Florence, the Rams bumped up their contest originally scheduled for Friday to Thursday Night. During the contest the two teams battled back and forth with the Warriors of Easton jumping out to an early 14-0 lead.  The Rams were undeterred as they fought back as a Unit and Family. During the game young Sophomore Jabrontae “Buggy” Mills emerged as the spark the defense needed in order to stifle the passing attack of the Warriors. His crucial plays and sacks of the QB disrupted the offense and his big plays were seen on all sides of the ball. On 4th down the Warrior s had set up for a field goal but attempted a fake (due to poor field conditions) the play would be a major turning point in the game as Mills came off the edge and sacked the play for a 15 yard tackle for loss. The Rams Rallied after and score 15 unanswered points on the back of a young offense line and the feet of both Devian White and Marcus Yarns. The Rams return to the Gridiron this upcoming Friday versus in city rival Wicomico High School.
