Parkside High School – Week 8 Tough Guy Winner

Week 8 Cory Whtie

Congratulations to the Parkside High School Week 8 Tough Guy Winner, Cory White. When the Rams and the Seahawks have met up in years past their have always been great contest and just good ole school high school football games. The two teams and coaches know each other well. Decatur has lost a tough contest the previous week versus fellow city of Salisbury opponent Wicomico. Cory White is one of the Unsung heroes of the Rams. He is truly fearless and plays the game the right way. He tries to dominate and throws himself around the field tackling wideouts, quarterbacks and running backs. He is also a great special teams player. The Contest was back and forth in the first half. The Seahawks came with a great game plan and the Rams defense got out leveraged allowing the Seahawks to march down the field and score with ease. The Rams were also able to score but got stopped once on the goal line which left score going into half 21 to 15 Decatur. The Rams got it together. They Listened and Adjusted. Cory listened and adjusted. On one particular play he ran through the line and stuff the punt on the 20 yard line setting up a score for the offense. After another defensive stop, he jumped into a position he has played only once and went and made a spectacular touchdown catch. He played like a warrior and the actions of toughness lead his team to victory. The Rams improved to 7-1 and will be on the road again vs. the Trojans of Kent County High School Friday November the 1st at 6:30pm.
